Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 builds on the successes of it's predeccesor to increase service options, higher security options for branches connected through WAN links and support for the new ADMX policy framework native to 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
This platform can be installed in core mode without a Graphical User Interface so that servers can be specified for specific roles at a lower hardware profile. This product also offers support for Virtualisation through a native Hypervisior (Hyper-V) giving companies more options in terms of consolidating hardware without requiring third party products to run the Host operating system.
