Lorentzen Limited have been working with Vernon Terrace Primary School based in Northampton for three years. Initally the project was to assist with an administration server quotation and organise machines given to the school for use in the IT suite.

We have assisted the school in developing the IT infrastructure by recabling the IT suite and various other classrooms to improve network provision. The IT suite is now equipt with 30 desktop workstations running off a dedicated curriculum server. All the students have their own work stores and class lessons focus on accessing a shared resource drive that staff can make resources available through.

Wireless access points have been installed and a public information system in the children centre, a bespoke project using LG flatscreen televisions running off a dedicated machine.
