Collection of 2D and 3D Graphics Packages. These range from photo editting and vector based drawing applications through to 3D modelling tools that can be used for object showcasing.
Google Sketchup is an Open Source 3D modelling program aimed at creating CAD based models for Architecture and Engineering. It has a great interface for working with Geometry and offers texturing and colouring options.
This is a truly amazing 3D Graphics package. We found blender whilst running a flash animation course where one of the requirements was to generate some 3D animation rendered into video. Although a long term 3DS Max user, this was an expensive outlay and we could see the potential for using this in the course.
Blender was really the start of our journey into the open source world, and we have watched the feature list grow with every release.

I often find myself spending a lot of my time organising, or atleast trying to get myself organised.
